The Commission for Aviation Regulation has recently issued all small aircraft operators holding a valid Air Carrier Operating Licence (ACOL) with a licence disc for each aircraft on its Air Operators Certificate (AOC).

The purpose of the display of a Licence Disc is so thta the travelling public can immediately recognise and identify a licensed operator. It is the Commissions intention to embark on an Awareness Campagin this year advising the public to look out for the disc displayed on aircraft operated by all licensed operators and warning about the commercial risks of travelling with unlicensed operators.
